The history of Grassalkovich Palace is closely connected with the history of Bratislava and can resemble a bit of a fairy tale. A tale about a somewhat sleepy fishing-vineyard town on the Danube, which in the whirlwind of historical events of the 16th century became the main and at the same time the coronation city of the Hungarian Kingdom. The original residence of Count Anton Grassalkovich lives on, blossoms into beauty and peacefully dreams its historical dream.
