Above the town of Stará Ľubovňa in the northwestern part of Spiš, on a limestone cliff 688 meters high, a majestic, magnificent and magical castle was built in the ancient times of the Middle Ages.

If, with slight exaggeration, we imagine a drop of rain that, after hitting the top of the castle roof, splits into halves - one half of the drop flows into the Poprad or Dunajec rivers and flows into the Baltic Sea in Poland, and the other half will surely reach Váh, Hron or Tisza, then to the Danube and finally ends in the Black Sea.
