Orava Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia located in the village of Oravský Podzámok. It is a significant landmark of the Orava region, it is among the most important monuments of castle construction in Slovakia. The Orava Castle Rampart, on which the Orava Castle rises above the level of the Orava River, was a fortified castle from a long time ago. The highest part of the castle is 112 meters above the level of the Orava river.
